The idea for Elevate was born the morning after I left my corporate job at an Investment Bank. I woke up to a completely empty calendar, and for the first time in years, there was nothing demanding my attention. In that silence, a realization landed with unexpected force: the modern professional grind has a remarkable ability to numb the mind while reducing the body to little more than a machine. We simply weren’t designed to spend our lives sitting behind a desk for nine hours a day. We become experts at productivity, efficiency, and meeting expectations, yet somewhere along the way our curiosity, creativity, and deeper human potential begin to fade into the background.
Elevate emerged as a response to that realization. There was no grand business strategy or meticulously crafted five-year plan—just a powerful impulse to create a space where people could step outside the routines of modern life and rediscover what it means to grow, connect, and fully come alive.
Less than three months later, the first Elevate conference and retreat took shape at the Volkshaus in Zurich. A handful of visionary speakers said yes. People travelled from around the world, most of them complete strangers to one another. Yet within hours it became clear that something extraordinary was happening. There was an unmistakable hunger for conversations that explored consciousness, healing, purpose, and human potential—free from the constraints of corporate jargon on one side and empty spiritual clichés on the other.
That first gathering became the foundation for a growing series of events bringing together researchers, clinicians, indigenous leaders, practitioners, entrepreneurs, and pioneering thinkers working at the frontiers of human understanding. Our conversations have explored psychedelic science, mental health, modern leadership, nature connection, and the future of wellbeing—not because these subjects are fashionable, but because they address one of the defining questions of our time: how do we live lives that are deeply connected, meaningful, and fully realised?
Like so many initiatives, Elevate was forced to adapt during the pandemic. Large gatherings gave way to smaller, more intimate experiences that kept the spirit of the community alive while the world paused. Those quieter years weren’t an ending—they were an incubation.
Now, that next chapter begins.
In September 2026, Elevate returns on a larger scale than ever before, bringing together an extraordinary lineup of speakers and participants for a new generation of conversations that matter.
What makes Elevate unique is its independence. There are no corporate sponsors shaping the programme, no institutional agendas, and no boardroom deciding what can or cannot be discussed. Elevate is funded entirely by the people who choose to be part of it.
That freedom allows us to do something increasingly rare. Rather than offering formulaic self-improvement or polished keynote performances, we create experiences that challenge assumptions, expand perspectives, and forge genuine human connection. Our goal isn’t to give people all the answers. It’s to introduce them to ideas, research, practices, and remarkable individuals that spark lasting transformation—conversations that continue long after the event itself has ended.
