Ben De Loenen is the co-founder and Executive Director of ICEERS (International Center for Ethnobotanical Education, Research and Service). For over a decade, he has worked at the intersection of indigenous knowledge, plant medicines, science, and public policy, helping bridge ancestral traditions with modern legal, medical, and ethical frameworks. Ben is widely respected for his role in advancing evidence-based dialogue around traditional medicines, human rights, and cultural preservation, while fostering responsible, cross-cultural collaboration between indigenous communities, researchers, and institutions worldwide.
