Don Gino Chaka-Runa is a traditional Mestizo-Andean shaman from Puno, Peru, initiated into the shamanic path at age 15 by his grandfather, a Yatiri healer of the Inca lineage. He offers plant medicine ceremonies drawing on deep experience with master plants from the Peruvian Amazon and Andes. His name, “Chaka-Runa,” means “The Bridge Man” in Quechua. He belongs to the lineage of Mestizo Maestros descending from Don Solon Tello, Don Guillermo Hojanama, and Don José Campos, and has also incorporated Shipibo tradition and icaros into his practice. He now works between the Peruvian Amazon and the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and has led ceremonies internationally.
